The Athena is a translucent smoke latex jacket dress — a tailored rubber blazer cut to mini length, with a patterned corset waist panel shaped to a point at centre front and back.
Design details
Notched lapel collar. Full-length two-way gold zip front, so the hem opens as well as the neckline. Twin zipped bust seams in gold. Long sleeves. The corset panel is cut in patterned rope-print latex and seamed to draw the waist in against the sheer olive-black body.
Because the latex is translucent, the piece reads differently over bare skin than over a contrast layer. Many wear it over a black opaque latex bodysuit or briefs.
Wearing and caring for your latex jacket dress
You will need a latex or silicone shiner to bring the surface to a high gloss. New latex arrives matte and lightly dusted. See our Latex Care guide for washing, shining and storage.
Store the garment with the zip separated from the body, as brass hardware can mark latex over time.
